About Stone Soup Administration:
On January 1st, 2024, 10 shares of BlackRock iShares Core High Dividend Fund (HDV) were purchased at the price of $101.94 per share. This fund was selected for its low expense ratio and relatively high dividend disbursement. HDV is an exchange-traded fund that tracks a dividend-weighted index of 75 high-yielding US equities, screened for high earnings potential and dividend sustainability. HDV was launched on Mar 29, 2011, and is issued by BlackRock.
Ten holdings make up 51% of the portfolio: Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Johnson & Johnson, Abbvie, AT&T Inc., Philip Morris, Coca-Cola, Cisco Systems, Merck & Co., and Pepsico. Further information on the fund, dividend schedule, prospectus, and annual report can be found on BlackRock’s Website.
Each quarter an additional ETF share will be purchased and held along with the principal investment in a securities account held by SSA’s director for further disbursement opportunities.
Hopefully, as the fund grows, the soups will become more elaborate.
